According to Galatians 4:4, Jesus the Christ was born in “the fullness of time.”
In other words, He was born at the right moment. Jesus had come to the nation of Israel but the Jews rejected the offer made by God that Christ would bring them salvation. The Jews who knew plenty of suffering throughout their history couldn’t understand that principle of suffering later recorded about Jesus in the book of Hebrews.
Hebrews 2:9-10 that says, “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering”.
The Jews could not fathom that a Divine Messiah had to suffer and die for the sins of the people. That Divine Messiah was none other than God Himself in the form of Jesus Christ.
Blessings on you! I trust you are having a Great New Year!
