Is the lowering of moral standards in many of our cultures leading to the collapse of society as a whole? The dictionary describes culture as a pattern of human behavior that includes our thoughts, speech, and actions. We learn and transmit that knowledge to succeeding generations, including our beliefs, social group ideals, racial, and religious instruction. There is a cultural problem in our world that is affecting the type of information and moral instruction that we are passing on from generation to generation. What we recognize and appreciate as our philosophy of moral behavior and principle is often misguided and can lead to the destruction of any society. Our children are not born with any predisposed cultural behavior pattern but we develop and program much of our behavioral patterns into them and into our culture.
